- [Kantai Collection/Kancolle] Yukikaze (雪風、snowy wind) is an Imperial Japanese Kagerou class destroyer, and a very lucky on at that, since she survived the whole pacific war without any major damage. She is later transferred to Republic of China’s Navy with a new name of Dan Yang (丹陽)
- Introduction
- I am born as Yukikaze at Sasebo Naval Arsenal in March 1939. Not long after that, “The war” happened, and I got to see many services, namely at Guadalcanal, Kolombangara, Philippines and Okinawa. I somehow survived them all, and people start calling me “The unsinkable ship” or “The miracle ship”, although I am seen as a bad omen by my own navy since ships I escorted usually sinks. I then went on to serve the Republic of China’s navy, I got a new name of Dan Yang there. I continue to serve up until a typhoon storm give me an unrepairable damage in 1969 and practically ended my career for good
